Reduce Cellulite By Making Small Changes
Posted by: | CommentsMost of the time when we set out to reduce cellulite we think we need a drastic solution. However, taking small but consistent steps can actually put you further ahead when it comes to getting rid of cellulite dimples permanently. Small changes made over time can produce incredible results. Here are a few ideas:
1. Take an honest look in the mirror and determine if you’re carrying excess body fat. If so, this is the first place to start. Because cellulite is a type of fat, following a fat loss program is critical for reducing cellulite. Fat loss need not be difficult and there are many good plans available to help if you need them. The Thin Thighs Program is one example of a great fat loss program that addresses cellulite specifically.
2. Eat a clean diet. Instinctively you probably know what this means. Eat more of the good stuff and less of the bad. Fruits, vegetables, lean meats, whole grains and healthy fats get a thumbs up. Avoid excess salt, sugar, white flour and saturated fats.
3. Flush out toxins that build up in the body by drinking more water and eating a fiber-rich diet. Many people consider internal cleansing for a number of health reasons, including cellulite reduction. Check with your doctor first if this is something you want to try. This option should be considered only after you’ve increased your water intake and cleaned up your diet as it may not be necessary.
4. If you smoke, stop. Smoking is just plain bad any way you look at it. But if you’re a long-time smoker, consider this… cellulite is caused at least in part by toxins in the body. Don’t you think smoking increases toxins in the air you breath more than just about anything?
5. Get and stay active. Exercise not only helps with fat loss and muscle tone, it also increases circulation within your body. By increasing circulation, toxins are more likely to work their way out of your body. In addition, improved circulation leads to greater overall health and fitness.
As you can see, the steps you can take to reduce cellulite are the same exact steps that can lead to greater fitness and health. While it’s not always easy to change, once you start feeling and seeing the amazing benefits from taking a few simple actions you’ll never look back. Here’s to your health and cellulite reduction efforts!
Aminophylline – The Truth About This Popular Cellulite Cream Ingredient
Posted by: | CommentsThere’s been a lot talk lately about aminophylline, one of the newer cellulite cream ingredients contained in many products including one we recently reviewed here – Procellix Cellulite Review. Some say it’s a harsh chemical and should be avoided on that basis alone. But the most pressing thing everyone wants to know is if it actually works. I found a great article written by Karen Sessions regarding aminophylline and have included it below… Enjoy!
Aminophylline - The Real Cellulite Solution?
Cellulite is a common ailment among many women these days. It’s that nagging cottage-cheese hanging around on your lower body and back of arms. You know that stuff that you are trying to cover up.
Every where you look you are bombarded with advertisements, studies, and research promising that one cellulite cure-all method, guaranteed to banish your cellulite with the new “wonder drug” or “break-through” cellulite cream.
When you come across such “amazing discoveries” take a step back and think about it for a second. If there was such an amazing cellulite break-through, don’t you think it would be prescribed by a doctor or at least be on the news?
Cellulite remedies promising to remove your cellulite with topical applications or odd gizmos are a dime a dozen and none of them truly work. If they did, 90% of women (as studies state) wouldn’t have cellulite.
A very popular cellulite cream ingredient is aminophylline. Aminophylline is highly-marketed as the cellulite reduction miracle. Many statements claim that it will reduce the lumps and bumps of cellulite by breaking down the fat cells into fatty acids to be removed by the body. Other claims suggest that it shrinks the fat cells and release them into particles to be excreted by the body.
Yes, some women report a reduction in the area the topical was applied, but most are not aware that it has dehydrated the area. Yes, aminophylline is a diuretic, which explains the girth reduction many people may experience temporarily when used, and as you may know, diuretic effects are temporary.
The real effects of aminophylline is simply minimizing the appearance of your cellulite for a short time …not removing it or curing it.
Aminophylline may come in handy if you have to go to a dinner party or some other gathering, but for a permanent cellulite reduction, it’s best to seek real information rather than quick-fixes.

Cellulite Can Happen To Anyone – How To Reduce Cellulite When It Happens To You
Posted by: | CommentsMany people think that cellulite only happens to overweight women (those people are generally either overweight themselves or have never had cellulite). The truth of the matter is, it results from losing elasticity and firmness. What happens next is… fat deposits and fluids settle into the lower layers of your skin. Believe it or not, this can happen to you even if you only weigh 90 pounds soaking wet.
Cellulite happens for many reasons including heredity, the thickness of your skin, the amount of fat on your body, and gender. If you have thin skin and just a little excess fat on your body, it can result in cellulite. Now it seems we have one more reason to grow a thick skin
Many people think that only older women get cellulite. This is simply not true. Some girls are prone to cellulite even in their teens. It is just less noticeable because of their firmer, thicker skin.
A strict diet will not necessarily eliminate cellulite. The problem with going on a diet and losing weight quickly is that you lose not only fat but muscle tone. If you have a lot of weight to lose and you do it quickly, your skin does not have time to firm back up.
Since you have lost a lot of muscle tone too, you may actually wind up with a higher fat percentage of your overall body weight. This is a common problem for yo-yo dieters and can make the cellulite appear even worse. Be sure to follow a sensible diet that will assure you will only lose body fat and not muscle.
Many people think that cellulite is just a natural part of aging. Although it certainly can get worse with age, if you follow a regular exercise program and eat healthy you’ll be well ahead in the cellulite reduction game. There are also many good body contouring creams that are clinically proven to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Be sure to use one of these creams every day when you get out of the shower. Your legs will look better by just taking a few minutes each day to apply it to your problem areas.
